Bassano del Grappa is a town of over 40,000 inhabitants made by a great history and boasts a wide artistic and cultural tradition.
The city carefully preserves its heritage that has been handed down over the centuries, like “Ponte degli Alpini”, a covered wooden bridge designed by Andrea Palladio, the artworks by Jacopo da Ponte, Antonio Canova, Paolo Veronese and the prints of Remondini family.
Among city’s attractions stand out the Ezzelini Castle, the Civic Tower, the Civic Museum, the Grappa Museum, the Hemingway Museum, the Great War Museum and the famous Ossuary Temple.
Bassano is also proud of its excellent culinary tradition: you cannot leave this city without having tasted its asparagus, salted codfish and grappa. Very famous is also Nardini and its “Mezzo e Mezzo”.
